Although it is a far cry from Arizona, Casa Green Golf Club with its luxuriant green fairways and numerous cacti in the rough, brings forth memories of Scottsdale.
This true championship layout is, however, only two hours flight from Paris and a tee shot from down-town Casablanca. The course which nestles in the new town of Casa Green Town, lies on the edge of the Bouskoura Forest and takes advantage of the natural topography and local vegetation. The architect Jeremy Pern has combined traditional aspects of Scottish links with typical features of Moroccan landscapes such as Wadis and desert areas. On this course where all levels of play are welcome, accuracy from the tee is crucial in order to avoid the very penalizing rough and the various wadis that meander between and across some of the holes, an interesting local subtlety.
