Voting opens ahead of World Golf Awards Gala Ceremony 2016

Voters from across the golf hospitality industry are being invited to cast their ballots as voting opens ahead of the World Golf Awards Gala Ceremony 2016.The event will be staged at the luxurious Conrad Algarve, Portugal, for the third successive year on November 11th-13th.
World Golf Awards Managing Director Christopher Frost said: “Voting is now open ahead of the World Golf Awards 2016 as we begin preparations for the third annual event.
“We will be returning to both Conrad Algarve and Qunita do Lago for the Gala Ceremony and we look forward to welcoming hundreds of industry leaders from across golf hospitality.
“With voting now open it is down to you, the voters, to decide who we will recognise with our prestigious trophies."
Event Partner Quinta do Lago will offer World Golf Awards guests a chance to enjoy its three award-winning championship golf courses – the South Course, Laranjal, and the North Course, which was co-designed by Beau Welling and European Ryder Cup-winning captain Paul McGinley.
Each has been expertly designed to complement its natural surroundings, while offering its own set of unique challenges.
John Dwyer, Chief Executive at Quinta do Lago, said: “We’re delighted Quinta do Lago will play a leading role with the World Golf Awards for a third year. It was a real privilege to be involved for the first two years and hosting the event continues to boost the interest and enjoyment of our resort.

World Golf Awards has also recently revealed Conrad Algarve, the most modern five-star hotel in Portugal, will host its Gala Ceremony 2016.
The property is a uniquely styled luxury hotel, with everything from the guest rooms and private balconies, to the majestic spa and five individual restaurants offering flourishes of sophistication.
"The Conrad Algarve is extremely proud to be hosting the World Golf Awards Gala Ceremony for the third consecutive year,” said Conrad Algarve General Manager Joachim Hartl.
"It was a pleasure to be part of the first two editions of such a prestigious event in which Portugal was inclusively awarded as the World’s Best Golf Destination, a relevant recognition for golf and the hospitality industry in particular for the Algarve region as one of the leading golf destinations.
