Voting for the World Golf Awards 2025 programme is now open. Categories cover the entire spectrum of the golf tourism industry, and range from the best golf courses and designers to golf destinations, resorts and tour operators.
Voting is open until 1 October, and both the public and golf industry executives can cast their votes for the brands they believe are driving excellence and innovation in golf tourism.
The winners of each category will be invited to attend the 12th annual World Golf Awards in Madeira on 12-13 November 2025. Leading names from the golfing world will join VIPs and figureheads from the golf tourism industry for what will mark the second World Golf Awards to take place in the Atlantic archipelago.
The prize-giving evening at Savoy Palace from Savoy Signature, Funchal will form the climax of an exclusive golfing itinerary on the island’s world-class courses.
Known as ‘the islands of eternal spring’, Madeira is forging a reputation as Europe’s leading emerging golf destination. Just a short flight from most European cities, it lies on the same latitude as Morocco, and has a subtropical climate and unique ecosystem, making it the perfect destination for golf.
Chris Frost, Managing Director, World Golf Awards, said: “Following the success of our ceremony last November, we are delighted to return to Madeira for World Golf Awards 2025. This Atlantic jewel is an island blessed with a sublime tropical climate, a fascinating culture, delicious gourmet food and incredible flower and fauna – making it the perfect destination for golf. I greatly look forward to joining the finest organisations in golf tourism this November.”
