INFINITUM has successfully defended its title as ‘Europe’s Best Golf Real Estate Venue’ at the prestigious World Golf Awards. Additionally, its renowned Ruins course was honored as ‘Europe’s Best Nine Hole Golf Course.’

The Catalan resort has emerged as a key figure in the European golf scene, rapidly expanding into the real estate sector. Over the past few years, it has developed and marketed over 200 villas and luxury apartments near the Mediterranean Sea.

Currently, INFINITUM is progressing with the third stage of its residential development, which features 90 high-end two, three, and four-bedroom apartments situated in prime areas of the resort. The first 150 properties of the initial phase were sold within a year, and the second phase, consisting of luxurious apartments and villas crafted by the renowned Batlle I Roig architectural firm, is anticipated to achieve comparable sales success.

The resort’s secure, exclusive community also offers a range of lifestyle amenities, dining options, and the acclaimed INFINITUM Beach Club, conveniently located near its three golf courses.

Joaquín Mora Bertrán, Deputy General Manager of Golf, Beach Club and F&B at INFINITUM, said: “We were delighted and honoured to be named Europe’s Best Golf Real Estate Venue at last year’s World Golf Awards, and retaining the award for the second year in a row means even more to us because of how fierce the competition is from across the continent.

“When INFINITUM stepped into the world of real estate, our vision was to grow into one of the world’s premium residential communities – not just for golfers, but for anyone who loves leisure and lifestyle. This award shows us that we are on the right track and look forward to challenging for it once again next year.”

At the same award ceremony, held on November 22 in Funchal, Madeira, the Ruins was celebrated as the top nine-hole course in Europe. Designed by two-time Major champion Greg Norman and launched in 2008, the Ruins course is distinguished by its encounters with authentic Roman-era ruins, enhancing the playing experience with historical elements.

In 2025, the Ruins will temporarily merge with part of the popular Hills course to create a new composite course while the Hills undergoes comprehensive renovations. This follows a similar update to the Lakes course, which has recently reopened to positive acclaim.

Mora Bertrán added: “We’re so happy to see the Ruins course receive well-deserved recognition. In our view, this is one of the most underrated golf courses in Europe and should be played by all who visit.”

Long regarded as one of golf’s finest 45-hole destinations, INFINITUM is now also a firm favourite in the lifestyle sector thanks to its Beach Club, which made history in 2024 by winning ‘Europe’s Leading Beach Club’ at the World Travel Awards for the third year in a row. The resort is home to a number of first-class restaurants spread across the Beach Club and golf clubhouses, with most amenities open to guests as well as residents.
